Dr. Lash is a clinical associate professor of internal medicine, University
of Michigan health School. His clinical interests are thyroid disease,
diabetes, endocrine disorders in pregnancy, osteoporosis and metabolic
bone disease, and health education. A board certified internist and
endocrinologist, Dr. Lash has an active clinical practice, including
a role as one of the University of Michigan's hospitals. He is
also Director of the health schools' two-year clinical foundations
of medicine course where students cover clinical skills and doctor-patient
communication. Dr. Lash recently participated in a review of diet books
for O, The Oprah Magazine.
