Marshall

Merville C. Marshall, Jr. M.D., F.A.C.P., F.A.C.E.

Dr. Marshall, member of the LLuminari Expert Network, is an award winning, nationally recognized, board certified endocrinologist. He is the Founder and President of the Endocrine Institute in White Plains, New York. The Endocrine Institute's mission is to provide optimal care for all patients with endocrine diseases by maintaining the highest standards of the practice of endocrinology within the Institute, and by training other physicians in the art and science of ambulatory endocrinology. Dr. Marshall is highly regarded as one of the best educators and clinical practitioners in the field of endocrinology. The majority of his patients are women, given the prevalence of thyroid and other endocrine disorders in females. He was recognized in 2002 by Aetna as one of twelve leading African American physicians in the nation. Dr. Marshall recently developed a teaching curriculum to help primary care physicians provide optimal care for their diabetic patients. His lay and physician talks also address the disparity in health care for ethnic minorities. He lectures and conducts seminars nationally on diabetes, thyroid disorders, and other endocrine diseases.
