Dr. Rosenthal was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. Internationally
recognized for his research on depression, Dr. Rosenthal and his team
were responsible for describing seasonal affective disorder (SAD), and
developing the field of light therapy. He lectures on the use of herbal
remedies and dietary supplements, and is also well known for his skill
in communicating complex health information to the general public in
an interesting, entertaining, and readily accessible way.
